Downstream Oxygen (O2) Sensor Replacement on 2012-2015 Honda Civic
Unbolt and replace the secondary sensor situated after the catalytic converter underneath the chassis. Mapped specifically for 2015 Honda Civic Si (2.4L I4 (K24Z7)).
Step 1
Raise Vehicle and Unplug Harness
Jack up the vehicle and secure with jack stands. Unsnap the wire guide clips from undercarriage and unplug the downstream sensor harness.
🔧 Fastener: Chassis Wire Clip • Torque Spec: None
Step 2
Unscrew Sensor
Spray threads liberally with penetrating fluid. Use a 22mm sensor socket to unscrew and remove. Prep threads of the new sensor with anti-seize, insert, and tighten.
🔧 Fastener: 22mm Downstream Hex • Torque Spec: 33 ft-lbs
