Cabin Blower Motor Resistor Replacement on 2012-2015 Honda Civic
Diagnose heater fan speed defects. Guide on swapping the resistor under the passenger footwell dashboard. Mapped specifically for 2012 Honda Civic Si (2.4L I4 (K24Z7)).
Step 1
Locate and Unplug Resistor
Lie down in the passenger footwell facing up under glovebox. Locate the resistor module inserted inside the blower fan housing. Unplug its wiring harness.

Step 2
Unscrew Module
Remove the two Phillips screws securing the resistor plate into the ventilation housing, pull it down, and drop in the new resistor.
